The previous day, the President had announced that P茅ter Magyar始s name had been listed among the signatories to the joint motion for a resolution on the white paper on the future of European defence due to a clerical error (minutes of 12.3.2025, item 6.7).

After a thorough investigation into the matter, it could be confirmed, as stated the previous day, that the name should not have been on the list of signatories as it had not been one of the names transmitted by the PPE Group to the services.

The President had asked the services to put measures in place to prevent similar errors in the future.

Furthermore, the Members were asked not to escalate such a regrettable situation and to stick to the facts.
