Глобалните предизвикателства, като изменението на климата, геополитическите конфликти, подкопаването на демократичните принципи и социалните неравенства, засягат ежедневието на хората и перспективите им за бъдещето. Ако Европа отговори колективно на тези предизвикателства през следващите 10 години, те биха могли да бъдат преодолени. Това би донесло ползи в размер на до 3 трилиона евро годишно, което представлява около 18 % от брутния вътрешен продукт (БВП) на ЕС и се равнява на 6 700 EUR на гражданин всяка година. Позовавайки се на работата на Европейския парламент по време на законодателния мандат 2019 – 2024 г. , нашите проучвания набелязаха действия в 10 области, които биха могли да разгърнат потенциала на Европа, без да е необходима промяна на Договора.

Проучване - EU framework for the social and professional situation of artists and workers in the cultural and creative sectors - 14-11-2023

This European added value assessment (EAVA) supports the European �Ϸ��վ's legislative initiative 2023/2051(INL) entitled 'EU framework for the social and professional situation of artists and workers in the cultural and creative sectors'. Reviewing the existing legal framework and identifying the gaps, the study explores possible policy options to tackle the problems and looks at why EU action is needed. It analyses the potential impacts of the policy options, also conducting a qualitative and quantitative assessment. The analysis considers that, to a varying extent, the four policy options have the potential to reduce the fragmentation stemming from differing national legislation in the field of working conditions and social security rights for certain groups of workers in the cultural and creative sectors.

Проучване - Mapping the cost of non-Europe report: Theoretical foundations and practical considerations - 25-10-2023

This study has been drawn up by the European Added Value Unit within the European �Ϸ��վ's Directorate-General for �Ϸ��վary Research Services. It is part of a research project to better define the concepts of the cost of non-Europe and of European added value. The study recounts the development of these concepts and specifically how they have been used to support the European �Ϸ��վ's work in setting the legislative agenda. It also presents their theoretical underpinnings and the main considerations in their application. Finally, the study offers some reflections on the continued evolution of the concepts, in particular on budgetary aspects and on stress testing.
