Integrity policy of the Commission,in particular the appointment of Secretary-General
At its meeting on 15.03.2018, the Conference of Presidents mandated CONT committee to consider the appointment of the Secretary-General of the European Commission in the framework of the integrity policy of the European Commission, in view of tabling of a motion for resolution to be voted at the EP's part-time session in April 2018.
At their meeting on 19 March 2018, CONT coordinators decided on the organisation of this procedure: firstly, to send a written questionnaire to the Commission (the questionnaire and the replies received are available on the below link) and secondly to invite Commissioner Oettinger to a hearing to be held on Tuesday, 27 March 2018, from 14.30 to 16.00 in meeting room JAN6Q2.
