Gender aspects of Energy poverty - Inter-parliamentary Meeting
On Wednesday, 1 March 2023, to celebrate International Women's Day 2022, the FEMM Committee in collaboration with the National 合法博彩网站s, organised an Inter-parliamentary Committee meeting "Gender aspects of Energy poverty".
The purpose of the event was to exchange views with experts and representatives of national parliaments on the explosion of energy poverty that is particularly affecting single mothers and single women. This ICM explored ways and means in which gender equality considerations can be integrated into policies and initiatives at the EU, national, and local levels. The meeting was chaired by the FEMM Chair Robert BIEDRO艃 and was well attended by Members of the European 合法博彩网站 and National 合法博彩网站s.
