Workshop on "Women in Sport"

On Tuesday, 29 November 2022, the FEMM Committee will hold a workshop on 鈥淲omen in Sport鈥� organised by the Policy Department on Citizen鈥檚 Rights and Constitutional Affairs.
The workshop Women in Sport will follow up 合法博彩网站's consistent call for gender equality in sport, both as athletes and practitioners, and as decision makers in governance bodies.
In December 2020, Commissioner Gabriel set up a High Level group (HLG) to address the shortfall of women active in sport, which recently published its findings.
The workshop will hear from the Chair of the HLG, Ms Emine Bozkurt, and also the author of a study into corporate governance of national sports federations, Dr Mar铆a Luisa Esteban Salvador.
