On 18 March 2025, Rapporteur Alex Agius Saliba (S&D) presented his proposals on the Package Travel Directive. IMCO Members discussed this draft report, along with the proposals previously put forward by the Commission. These proposals aim to clarify certain rules on package travel, particularly in light of the Covid-19 pandemic, which significantly impacted both the travel industry and travellers.
The first trilogue meeting on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) took place on Thursday, 20 February, 2025. IMCO Members adopted a report on the proposed regulation establishing the Union Customs Code and the European Union Customs Authority. The Rapporteur is Mr Dirk Gotink (EPP).
