On Tuesday, 24 October 2023, the ECON and FEMM Committees jointly organised a high-level event on 鈥淲omen in Economics and Finance: Debate on the next challenges in the EU鈥� in the context of the 2023 European Gender Equality Week.
At this event, the Committees heard messages from Christine LAGARDE, President of the European Central Bank, Janet YELLEN, US Secretary of the Treasury, Kristalina GEORGIEVA, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund.
