On 13 May, Commissioner Brunner will appear before the LIBE Committee for the Structured Dialogue regarding the work and initiatives within his portfolio.
On 12 May, Members will ask Hadja Lahbib, Commissioner for Equality, preparedness and crisis management, to bring more clarity on the Commission鈥檚 intentions and explore concrete steps forward.
On 12 May, the Commission will present in LIBE its latest State of the Schengen Report. The EU's passport-free travel space, known as the Schengen area, celebrates this year the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Schengen Agreement.
On 8 April 2025, the LIBE Committee held an exchange of views the European Commission and experts on the proposed reform of legal proceedings initiated by popular action in Spain.
On 7th of April the LIBE MEPs had the opportunity to engage into an exchange of views with the Commissioner for Internal Affairs and Migration, Magnus Brunner, on the Commission鈥檚 new proposal for a Common European System for Returns.
