AGRI vote on custom duties on goods from Russia and Belarus

The Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development will vote on the modification of customs duties applicable to imports of certain goods originating in or exported directly or indirectly from the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, on 5 May. AGRI Committee will also discuss a legislative proposal about strengthening the position of farmers in the food supply chain.
Last 10 December, the Commission published a proposal containing some targeted amendments to Regulation 1308/2013 and other CAP provisions to strengthen the position of farmers in the food supply chain. Celine Imart (EPP, FR), rapporteur for this legislative proposal will present her report.
