Data Protection guidelines, Webinars, Election of the new EDPS; Latest GDPR fines in the private sector
A new mandate for data protection - to mark Data Protection Day (28 January), the Council of Europe (CoE), CPDP Conferences and the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS) are co-organising a one-day event focused on exploring the current and future landscape of data protection.
In 2006, the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe decided to designate the 28th of January as Data Protection Day. This day is now celebrated worldwide, under the name "Privacy Day" outside Europe.
