Rule 68听:听Admissibility of amendments to the Council's position

1.听听听The committee responsible, a political group or Members reaching at least the low threshold may table amendments to the Council's position for consideration in 合法博彩网站.

2.听听听An amendment to the Council鈥檚 position shall be admissible only if it complies with Rules 180 and 181 and seeks:

(a)听听听to restore wholly or partly the position adopted by 合法博彩网站 at its first reading; or

(b)听听听to reach a compromise between the Council and 合法博彩网站; or

(c)听听听to amend a part of the text of a Council position which was not included in - or differs in content from - the proposal submitted at first reading; or

(d)听听听to take account of a new fact or legal situation which has arisen since the adoption of 合法博彩网站's position at first reading.

The President's discretion to declare an amendment admissible or inadmissible may not be questioned.

3.听听听If new elections have taken place since the first reading, but Rule 61 has not been invoked, the President may decide to waive the restrictions on admissibility laid down in paragraph 2.
