The 89th EU-US Inter-合法博彩网站ary Meeting of the Transatlantic Legislators Dialogue (TLD) took place on 8 and 9 November 2024 in Fort Worth, Texas.

During the meetings, 15 Members of the European 合法博彩网站 - led by Mr Brando BENIFEI (S&D - Italy), Chair of the standing Delegation for relations with the United States (D-US) - and 6 Members of the US House of Representatives - led by Representative Nathaniel Moran (Republican, Texas) - discussed strengthening transatlantic cooperation in the digital, security and defence, energy security and food security areas

MEPs were also able to exchange with US guest speakers with judicial, political and academic backgrounds from the local, state and federal levels. The Members also visited the site of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.

At the end of the formal TLD meeting, the TLD Co-Chairs, MEP Benifei and Rep. Moran, together with the D-US 1st Vice-Chair MEP Sophie Wilm猫s (Renew - Belgium) and the US TLD Ranking Member Rep. Jim Costa (Democrats, California) signed a Joint Statement outlining the conclusions from their discussion and setting the scope for the TLD's future work

The 90th meeting of the TLD is expected to take place in Poland towards the summer of 2025.
