鈥撎�听having regard to Rule 59 of its Rules of Procedure,

鈥撎�听having regard to the report of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (A9-0152/2024),

1.听听Adopts its position at first reading hereinafter set out;

2.听听Calls on the Commission to refer the matter to 合法博彩网站 again if it replaces, substantially amends or intends to substantially amend its proposal;

3.听听Instructs its President to forward its position to the Council, the Commission and the national parliaments.

Text proposed by the Commission 听 Amendment Amendment 1 Proposal for a decision Title 1 Proposal for a Proposal for a DECISION OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL DIRECTIVE OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL amending Directive 2014/62/EU as regards certain reporting requirements amending Directive 2014/62/EU as regards certain reporting requirements (Amendment applies throughout (with the exception of footnotes): replace the words 鈥楧ecision鈥� throughout the Commission's proposal by the word 鈥楧irective鈥�.) Amendment 2 Proposal for a decision Recital 4 a (new) (4a)听听This Directive is based on a careful assessment of the particular circumstances of this legal instrument and limited to this area of crime. It is without prejudice to the need to ensure appropriate levels of reporting obligations in the field of EU criminal law. Amendment 3 Proposal for a decision Recital 6 (6)听听摆鈥�In accordance with Article 3 of Protocol No 21 on the position of the United Kingdom and Ireland in respect of the area of freedom, security and justice, annexed to the TEU and to the TFEU, Ireland has notified its wish to take part in the adoption and application of this Decision 鈥漁R 鈥淚n accordance with Articles 1 and 2 of Protocol No 21 on the position of the United Kingdom and Ireland in respect of the area of freedom, security and justice, annexed to the TEU and to the TFEU, and without prejudice to Article 4 of that Protocol, Ireland is not taking part in the adoption of this Decision and is not bound by it or subject to its application.鈥� ]. (6)听听 In accordance with Article 3 and Article 4a (1) of Protocol No 21 on the position of the United Kingdom and Ireland in respect of the area of freedom, security and justice, annexed to the TEU and to the TFEU, Ireland has notified its wish to take part in the adoption and application of this Directive. Amendment 4 Proposal for a decision Recital 7 (7)听听Directive 2014/62/EU should therefore be amended accordingly. (7)听听 Directive 2014/62/EU should therefore be amended accordingly. Since the targeted amendment of that Directive solely concerns a deletion of a reporting obligation, there is no specific need for the Member States to transpose the amendment.
